Thunderstorm Produces Hail

I encountered a pocket of severe weather coming home from work today. Driving west on Old St. Augustine Road, the gusts of wind started to pick up significantly. The rain was pouring down in buckets while branches and small limbs flew by my window. As I approached the Magnolia Drive intersection, I started to hear the unmistakable sound of hail impacting the car. I could see small chunks of ice on my sunroof but cannot estimate how large the pieces were on their way down. There was some pretty close lightning strikes also, much like those I have seen during the last few severe storms.
